Synopsis For Altamaha Sound Ga To Flagler Beach Fl Out To 60 Nm-

Synopsis

Tropical Storm Hanna is forecast to continue to the north toward the Carolinas tonight. However...tropical storm force winds are expected over the offshore waters this evening...with mainly frequent gusts to tropical storm force over the nearshore portion. Marine interests should monitor the latest forecasts from the National Hurricane Center on Hanna. Swells associated with Hurricane Ike should begin arriving in the coastal waters by Saturday night and persist through early next week.

Tonight Tropical storm conditions expected. West winds 30 to 35 knots with gusts to 45 knots decreasing to 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knots after midnight. Seas 15 to 20 feet subsiding to 12 feet after midnight. Numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Saturday Southwest winds 15 knots. Seas 8 feet subsiding to 4 feet in the afternoon.
Saturday Night Southwest winds 10 knots becoming west 10 knots after midnight. Seas 3 to 4 feet.
