at 15z...or 8 am PDT...high surface pressure was well off the
Pacific NW coast...but will slowly build toward California this
week. Weaker than normal flow will persist as a result over the
next few days. A moist and unstable airmass will edge into
Southern California today through Tue...but any thunderstorm
activity is expected to remain over land. A moderate southerly
swell will continue to build into the area today...then persist
through mid week peaking on late tonight into early Monday.
