I think 90L will become Don at somepoint today or tonight as the vorticity becomes vertically stack from the llc, mlc, and ulc. Currently 90L is a small system, with a blow up of convection just north of Yucatan. It appears it hasn't been moving a whole lot. They are two trains of thought 90L moves towards the wnw towards south central Texas if the system strengthens up to a hurricane...if it stays weak it will take on a more nw/nnw path towards the upper Texas coast to maybe as far as central Louisiana. The Bermuda High and Central Plains High are responsible for the movement of 90L, however the Bermuda High is moving east and it could leave a weakness between the two highs which would favor the latter track. Also the faster it moves the more likely it is to strike south central Texas and the more slower it moves the more likely it is to get pulled northward from an approaching trough.
