Gorgeous, but hot! Did get a couple of hours on the YOLO yesterday! Wonderful feeling, went to Western Lake (one of our beautiful Coastal Dune Lakes), Grayton Beach and got to paddle for a couple of hours! Had a huge, and I mean Grand-daddy huge RedFish swimming right under my board! Awesome, the sound of water lapping, the birds, singing, the sounds of nature... NICE!
YOLO - get out that board!

I swear I had left a post here... feels a little like twilight zone..... 2nd try Good morning grovelers, today we still have swell in the water. Maybe not as big as yesterday at this time, but is not as choppy. Surf in the waist high range coming off the high tide that was @7:30 this morning. Low tide today @ 4:00pm so I'm thinking this morning is probably the better bet. More rain off the coast will move onshore as the day heats up, so keep an eye to the sky. This will make 10 days straight for ridable surf for the left coast, something that rarely happens anytime of the year around here. Get it while it lasts, because it doesn't look like much on the horizon after the holiday weekend!

Saturday July 4th, 2009 Report: small grom bump ... Another chance for surf coming, Tuesday the 7th, yet again a trough will dig in with W winds and surf bumping up knee to waist high at the best spots.

SURF REPORT - AURA A front will sink down and tighten the gradient across the N gulf. Starting off in the 1ft range on Monday and building knee to waist high at the best spots on Tuesday and continuing into Wednesday in the 1-2ft range. Full moon tides this week will definitely need to be considered and it looks like the northern counties and CLW will have a better shot at waves than the south. Have a good week.

Emmy, I agree. HOT, HOT, HOT too darned hot. What little spit we had of rain here yesterday didn't do anything but make it worse. Now it's "WET" and hot. LOL
